Scope and Contents Jose Montano, Sr. was born on June 19, 1933 in Infanta, Pangasinan, Philippines. He enlisted in the US navy in 1955 and served for 22 years on both the East Coast and in the Pacific Fleet at Honolulu, Hawaii.
